Clinical Trial Recruitment Representative II

What is your role as a Clinical Trial Recruitment Representative II? As a Volunteer Support employee, you will fall under the Recruitment Center of ICON in Groningen. You will be part of the Marketing & Recruitment department and, together with a number of colleagues, you will be involved in a number of specific studies. For potential participants in these surveys, you are the first point of contact, and therefore the calling card of our organization.

The participants are essential to our research, it is important that they feel heard and valued. You take care of that! You are responsible for communicating with our potential new participants. You help them in their decision-making by providing them with the right information. Via chat, email, social media and telephone, you take care of the contact and answer any questions or ambiguities. In addition, you are responsible for conducting the so-called pre-screening, the screening that precedes the medical examination before the start of a drug trial.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of payments for reimbursements and travel expenses to volunteers
  • Handling inquiries regarding volunteer payments (via email, phone, WhatsApp, and chat)
  • Carrying out marketing actions: managing external channels, SMS, cleanup actions, uploading studies online, and processing website reviews
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping in the Clinspark database so that the correct screening overviews can be generated
  • Backup and support for various administrative tasks, such as backup for data entry of volunteer registrations and preparation of reports

Experience

  • You will have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, preferably with a diploma in a medical-related field.
  • You will preferably have experience in administration and/or telephone-based information services, and can quickly switch between different systems.
  • You are stress-resistant, can prioritize well, and perform effectively under pressure when needed.
  • Strong empathy, allowing you to easily relate to others and assist them with various inquiries. You are socially skilled and have a customer-friendly attitude.
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work very accurately, creatively, and take a proactive approach.
