Facilitair Medewerker - Technische Dienst Laboratorium

Het bioanalytisch laboratorium van ICON is gevestigd in Assen. Hier worden met behulp van verschillende technieken analyses uitgevoerd van (nieuwe) geneesmiddelen in monsters van afkomstig van (pre-) klinische studies vanuit de hele wereld. We werken met de nieuwste apparatuur en passen innovatieve methoden toe.

Het team valt onder de afdeling Facilities & Support. Samen met twee collega’s ben je verantwoordelijk voor verschillende facilitaire werkzaamheden, maar ook het (plannen van) onderhoud van lab apparatuur.

Na een gedegen training maak je deel uit van de 24/7 bereikbaarheidsdienst. Dit houdt in dat je op toerbeurt, gedurende een week (buiten kantoortijden) verantwoordelijk bent voor het afhandelen van storingen aan gebouw, apparatuur en opslag.

Wat ga je doen als Facilitair Medewerker Technische Dienst?

• Alle voorkomende facilitaire werkzaamheden in en om het gebouw
• Het oplossen van diverse storingen (facilitair en (lab)-apparatuur)
• Optimalisatie Gebouw Beheer Systeem gebonden processen
• Inplannen van voor periodiek onderhoud aan gebouw en apparatuur
• Valideren van balansen, schudders, flowmeters, etc.
• Het uitvoeren van onderhoud aan apparatuur op het laboratorium
• Coördineren werkzaamheden diverse (externe) partijen
• Werken volgens GLP richtlijnen
• Teamlid van de  24/7 Bereikbaarheidsdienst

Wat breng jij mee als Facilitair Medewerker Technische Dienst?

• Afgeronde MBO opleiding (minimaal niveau 4), bij voorkeur richting laboratorium of techniek zoals MTS, Techniek, MLO/HLO, Laboratoriumtechniek, Facilitair etc.
• Aantoonbare affiniteit met laboratoria en kennis van (lab) apparatuur
• Communicatief vaardig naar de interne en externe klant
• Resultaat- en servicegericht
• Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift
• Woonachtig binnen 35 minuten van Assen.
• Bij voorkeur 40 uren per week beschikbaar
• Bij voorkeur minimaal 2 jaren werkervaring in een laboratorium omgeving

Facilities & Administration coordinator - Technical Service - Bioanalytical Laboratory

ICON's bioanalytical laboratory is located in Assen. By using various techniques, analyses are performed of (new) medicines in samples from (pre-)clinical studies from all over the world. We work with the state-of-the-art equipment an apply innovate solution from our field of work.

The team is part of the Facilities & Support department. Together with two colleagues, you are responsible for various activities with regards to facilities, but also the (planning of) maintenance of lab equipment.

After thorough training, you will be part of the 24/7 on-call service. This means that you will be responsible for handling issues in the building, equipment and warehouse on a rotating basis, for a week (outside office hours).

What will you do as a Facilities & Administration coordinator?

• All common facility activities in and around the building
• Resolving various malfunctions (facility and (lab) equipment)
• Optimization of Building Management System-related processes
• Scheduling of periodic maintenance for building and equipment
• Validating balances, shakers, flow meters, etc.
• Performing/planning maintenance on equipment in the laboratory
• Coordinating activities of various (external) parties
• Working according to GLP guidelines
• Team member of the 24/7 On-Call Service

What do you bring to the table as a Facilities & Administration coordinator?

• Completed secondary vocational education (MBO - minimum level 4), preferably in the direction of laboratory or technology such as MTS, Technology, MLO/HLO, Laboratory technology, Facility, etc.
• Demonstrable affinity with laboratories and knowledge of (lab) equipment.
• Good communication skills towards internal and external customers.
• Result- and service-oriented mindset.
• Professional proficiency of English and Dutch in spoken word and writing
• Residing within 35 minutes range of Assen.
• Preferably available 40 hours per week.
• Preferably at least 2 years of work experience in a laboratory environment.
