Purpose:

In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team and promote teamwork and continuous improvement, directly impacting our department's core operations and helping us achieve our safety and regulatory standards.

This role is offered on a temporary contract with potential for extension and involves shift-based work 16/7.

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of operators to meet production targets as outlined in the master production schedule.
  • Supporting the introduction of new products and equipment by providing clear user requirements to engineering teams.
  • Keeping all production documentation current and compliant, including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Conducting effective training for manufacturing operators on the correct use of equipment and safety practices.
  • Tracking and analyzing production metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leading all aspects of investigations into deviations and coordinating with specialists for effective resolution.

Required qualifications:

  • A minimum educational background of HBO (higher professional education) and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device sector.
  • Proficiency in automation software (Excel, ERP) and strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English to interact and lead effectively.
  • Familiarity with CGMP standards and EHS&S requirements related to manufacturing processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on team engagement and development.
  • A proactive mentality that embraces change and innovation while working towards operational goals.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Six Sigma and other process excellence methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
  • Capacity to analyze data and propose practical solutions to streamline processes.
  • A commitment to constructive feedback and continuous personal and team development.
