From Haarlem, we distribute 2,500 different medications and vaccines (with various packaging) to more than 140 countries.
The Facility Management department plays a critical role in ensuring that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall mission of the organization.

Purpose of the position
As the Capital Projects Lead, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects that enhance our facility's capabilities and support our mission. This position offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to advance within the organization and become a key member of the site management team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership : Lead and manage capital projects from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to define project requirements and objectives.

Budget Management : Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.

Risk Management : Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.

Vendor Management : Oversee relationships with external contractors and vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.

Continuous Improvement : Drive initiatives for process optimization and efficiency in project execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your Profile

Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience : Extensive experience in managing capital projects within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.

Language Skills : Proficiency in Dutch preferred, with strong English language skills.

Leadership Skills : Proven leadership abilities with a focus on project management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
