Our Capital Projects IT Infrastructure team is dedicated to the design and implementation of IT Infrastructure within major capital projects. These projects include the construction of new state-of-the-art facilities and substantial renovations of existing ones. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we ensure that our facilities are equipped with top-tier IT infrastructure that drives efficiency, productivity, and revenue.

Purpose of the role:

As an IT Infrastructure Technical Lead, you will have a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a role centred on the planning, execution, and oversight of IT infrastructure scope on large capital projects. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and the power of leading-edge technology while contributing to our mission of delivering innovative health solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that align with project schedules and budget constraints.
  • Ensure compliance of digital systems with company policies, standards, and best practices while advocating for a digital enabling IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in the development of project cost estimates, schedules, and documentation deliverables, including the Basis of Design and systems life cycle documentation.
  • Oversee construction activities related to IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with installation standards during the physical implementation of network and server hardware.
  • Manage hardware inventory and support the identification, configuration, and installation of shop floor hardware solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners on audio-visual and security scope of the projects.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in teamwork and physical implementation of IT infrastructure components (network and server hardware, computer and telecom rooms, network cabling, etc.)
  • Familiarity with logical networking, virtualized computing infrastructure, and manufacturing environments, with knowledge in project management and GxP environments as an asset.
  • Strong planning, organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage stakeholders.
  • Proficient in technical writing, fluent in verbal and written English, and capable of building rapport with a diverse global workforce
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
