Tender Sales Manager

Job profile

Lead sustainable growth by developing and executing a proactive tender strategy that enhances our participation in tenders through competitive, profitable pricing, an optimal product mix, and strategic partnerships. Your initial focus will be on Europe, our core market, while also laying the groundwork for future expansion into the Rest of the World (ROW).

In parallel, you will be expected to refine and strengthen our sales strategies for a certain part of the Synthon portfolio to accelerate product launches and maximize the market impact of our key foundation products.

Job mission

As experienced Tender Sales Manager you play a key role in developing and executing a proactive tender strategy.

This will be achieved by:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on tender strategy for each product-market combination
  • Monitor tender performance by regular follow ups with the sales team
  • Expand the existing tender database, map upcoming tenders opportunities
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify products that offer additional operational efficiencies at higher production volumes, and align the tender strategy accordingly—covering pricing, market selection, and tender participation
  • Advice the sales team on tender strategies in main EU markets, including market specific. price models and partner selection)
  • Define channel specific go-to-market strategies (ie. direct, via insurance companies, WHO, UN)
  • Deliver reporting on key tender results.

Following the above, you are also responsible for the optimization of the full lifecycle of our key products, from launch to maturity.

Your key responsibilities in the product lifecycle strategy are:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize commercial performance for launches and key foundation products.
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Set targets for optimizing geographical presence, track progress and actively engage with the sales team to deliver on actions.

Requirements :

  • University degree or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business. Advanced degree (MS) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries, ideally in generic drug development and commercialization
  • Relevant sales and tender experience
  • Strong product management experience

Languages

Good command of the English, both excellent verbal and written communication skills
