Quality Control Technician - Microbiology - Shifts
Who we are
The opportunity
As a Quality Control Technician in Microbiology, your responsibilities include conducting and supporting environmental monitoring in the production department and sampling water systems. You will perform routine analyses of water and pharmaceutical products to ensure quality standards are met, with all results recorded in our LIMS system.
16/7 shifts, split into morning and evening blocks. Morning shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Employees follow a 9-day cycle, working 3 consecutive days of morning shifts, followed by 3 days of evening shifts, and then having 3 days off.
How you’ll spend your day
- Supporting Environmental monitoring and sampling water systems
- Bioburden testing using membrane filtration and pour-plate method.
- Endotoxin determinations using Gel-clot and Kinetic Chromogenic methods.
- Contribute to efficiency programs for the department and the site.
- Keeping supplies and media to required levels.
- Cleaning and keeping clean equipment and the lab.
Your experience and qualifications
- MLO-3 degree in microbiology or higher
- Highly motivated professional
- Interested in the pharmaceutical industry
- Fluency in Dutch and English is an advantage
- Strong team player, committed to fostering a positive work environment through support, collaboration, and a sense of humor
