The opportunity
As a Senior Maintenance Engineer you are an expert in monitoring and overseeing the technical reliability & availability of our production systems. You like to exceed on a tactical level to improve that reliability & availability. For instance, by analyzing with FMECA improving the maintenance plans and the conditions in which the operational team is producing. Next to that you will ensure a smooth transition of new systems from the Engineering team to the Maintenance team. This by making sure the performance & output meets the requirements & specifications described in the URS’s.
How you’ll spend your day
- Making and maintaining maintenance plans.
- Handling CAPA's, Deviations and small tasks in change control.
- Administration of the computerized systems (GAMP).
- Acting as an SME on various systems.
- Initiating and implementing various improvements.
- Ensure & upgrade reliability of pharmaceutical equipment.
- Make propositions on adequate spare parts levels with management overview.
- Documentation of administrator procedures, technical installation procedures and maintenance procedures.
- Leading FMECA’s and criticality assessments. Following with management of relevant spare parts and trainings execution.
- Leading reliability upgrades for aging machines and have full ownerships on preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Transform to predictive maintenance and lead initiatives of that.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on engineering projects and changes while acting a role of maintenance engineer on the project team.
- Manage the whole maintenance aspects in enterprise (SAP) tool : SAP plant maintenance, SAP spare parts management.
- Lead preventive maintenance excellence projects.
Your experience and qualifications
- BSc degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is preferable.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
- Knowledge and experience with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice).
- Familiarity with GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice).
- Fluent in English.
- Solid and flexible team player.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
