Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is part of the IES EMEA Commercial Team, responsible for the sale and renewal of all service support plans within the IES contract portfolio. This role serves as the liaison between the Customer Care Centre in Budapest and the regional sales team, serving as the main point of contact for customers and instrument sales representatives, working closely with the Budapest customer care center.
The role holder acts as a subject matter expert, advising on contract matters, managing complex quotations, formal tenders, pricing agreements, and addressing questions from the Budapest team. You will engage with customers to clarify inquiries and convert quotes into contracts to improve revenue.
The Customer Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for:
- Coordinate between the Budapest customer care team, the contract team, and customers.
- Ensure that the critical metric of crafting and distributing contract renewal quotes within 90 days is met!
- Responsible for the credit note / Extended Warranty process
- Take ownership, maintain and improve critical cross-departmental processes.
- Ensure the accuracy of customer information in contract records and databases.
- Manage tenders, build quotes, acquire and deliver approvals, and track win/loss results.
- Handle incoming inquiries, follow them through to resolution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure processes are adhered to in collaboration with the Budapest customer care team.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and deliver complex quotes within required timeframes and SLAs.
- Follow up on quotes with customers
- Convert Time & Materials customers or those out of warranty into contract customers whenever possible.
- Ensure pricing aligns with the European price list and Discount Approval Matrix (DAM).
- Respond to customer quality questionnaires and supplier assessments as needed.
- Support the service sales team in preparing complex business deals, such as creating service history reviews, cost analyses, and price calculations.
- Assist with regional sales campaigns and promotions.
- Contribute to improving the quality of sales interactions with customers by supporting sales negotiations and resolving customer inquiries, such as obtaining information on parts availability, pricing, training offers, and consumables at the customer's request.
- Occasionally participate in sales, customer, or process-related projects, such as PPI.
- Occasional on-site visits to customers may be required.
