Job Description

At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., our focus is on developing pharmaceutical and cosmetic capsules, in addition to nutritional supplements. This position within our Maintenance & Engineering department presents an outstanding opportunity to engage with innovative equipment and enhance premium production processes!

Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment and materials according to planning, ensuring all components and machinery are in efficient condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps and setup equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble pumps used in the encapsulation machine.
• Provide service support related to the aforementioned production activities.
• Work on projects aimed at continuous improvement of production processes, improving the efficiency of the encapsulation process (RFT, OTD, and OEE).

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance and engineering, specifically with utilities, machinery, and equipment for gel and medicine production.
• Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation fields.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting with an emphasis on collaboration and outstanding service.
• Ambitious and meticulous approach to ensure flawless execution of tasks.
• Openness to working different shifts such as daytime, evening, and on-call rotations.

Team and Schedule

The personnel in our department include a Maintenance & Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Calibration Engineer, Senior Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technicians, and Set Up Technicians. The company runs three shifts to ensure a seamless production line, covering day shifts, rotating shifts, and on-call services.
